The Turning Pointe Dance Studio capped off their most successful year to date on June 5 and 6, with two sold-out year-end performances at the M.D. McEachern. The show's theme was "A Night at the Oscars", and it was a star-studded performance from local and area dancers.
Instructor Tara Groves, who runs the dance studio, says that this past year was the best yet for them, both in terms of enrollment and performance at competitions. "It was great," she says. "We had a really strong year."

This past year saw approximately 160 enrolled dancers, including several adults in the adult dance classes. This was the eighth year for Turning Pointe, and Groves says that the students who have been with the program over several years are performing at an ever-higher level, growing stronger and better as the years go by.
The dancers took part in two competitions this year, at a higher level than in previous years, and performed very well.
