Winter may keep its icy grip on us for a little while longer, but spring is on the way in the Crowsnest Pass, and it's the perfect time to spring into supporting the local economy.
The Crowsnest Pass is home to numerous small businesses that need your support to continue succeeding. When these businesses do well, everyone does well, as the economic benefits trickle through the entire community –– the more money that flows within the community instead of being spent outside of it, the better everyone does.
This spring season will see the community play host to a number of events that will draw visitors to the Crowsnest Pass. These visitors will spend money in the community, and anyone looking to attract these visitors would do well to advertise where they can see.
The Pass Herald will be running special sections for many of these events, providing space for businesses to get word out about their services to the people visiting our community.

These events include the Music Festival, which brings in young musicians and their families from throughout the Elk Valley, Pincher Creek, and beyond.

The Kananaskis Pro Indoor Rodeo attracts both competitors and fans from throughout the province to the Pass, and the Chamber of Commerce Trade Fair brings in businesses and visitors from far and wide. The annual Bunny Bonspiel curling event sees teams take part from across southern Alberta and the surrounding area, and families always travel to support their curlers.
Take advantage of the slowly recovering economy this spring by advertising wisely, and the Pass Herald encourages everyone to continue shopping locally in the Crowsnest Pass.
