Caron enjoyed participating and giving back in her own way to the community. She sat on boards such as the Crowsnest Pass School Board, York Creek Lodge, and Museum. She enjoyed volunteering for community events: Winter Games Home Coming, the Sinister 7 to name a few.
Caron's love of travel and adventure took her to many far off corners of the world where she enjoyed the people, culture and traditions of the area. Some of her lucky family and friends shared in her adventures to places such as Europe, Egypt, Belize, South America, Australia, China, Antarctic to name but a few.
She is survived by her children Mark (Heather) of Crowsnest Pass & California. Doyle (Andrea) of Calgary, her brother Brian (Myra) and nephews Andrew and Alex of the UK, her Uncle Gordon Dunford of the Crowsnest Pass and many cousins and her many, many longtime friends.
As per Caron's wishes no ceremony is to be held. Family and friends will be conducting a Celebration of Life for Caron in the spring of 2012.
Caron's love of animals was great. In lieu of flowers, donations in Caron's Memory can be made to The Crowsnest Pass SPCA, Box 725, Blairmore, AB T0K 0E0
