RCMP seek public’s assistance in finding culprits
Crowsnest Pass RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in solving a pair of break-ins to homes in Coleman which occurred earlier this month and resulted in significant damage to both properties.
The first break and enter, which was reported on December 3rd, occurred at a cabin north of the high school in the Woodhaven subdivision sometime between November 11th and December 3rd.
Three RVs on the property were also entered and significant damage was done to contents of the home.
No items appeared to have been taken, and police believe the damage was caused for no other purpose than to simply cause damage.
Through their investigation, police reviewed footage from security cameras set up on the property and observed three people leaving the cabin one night during that three-week period.

Following the first incident, another home in the same area was broke into.
Vandals gained entry and rummaged through the cabin, causing further damage.
RCMP believe that the same three people are responsible for the second break-in, and encourage residents to report suspicious vehicles and activities in the area.
Anyone with information on either incident is encouraged to contact the local RCMP detachment at 403-562-2867, or CRIMESTOPPERS at
1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
Calls will not be traced, and tips can be made anonymously.
CRIMESTOPPERS will pay a cash reward for information leading to the arrest of a person or persons responsible.
