Country superstar Michelle Wright is coming to the Crowsnest Pass.

Crowsnest Pass will be seeing a new face in late Oct, a face that many country music fans may recognize. Canadian country music artist Michelle Wright will be putting on a special concert at MD McEachern School Auditorium in Bellevue on Oct. 25.
Wright, an inductee of the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame, is best known for her number one hits “Take It Like a Man”, “Guitar Talk”, and “One Good Man”.
Since her 1990 Arista/Nashville self-titled debut album, Wright has sold nearly two million albums in the Unites States and Canada. She has toured across North America, Europe, Africa and Australia, and now, to the enchanting hills of the Crowsnest Pass.
“I have been fortunate enough to be able to work with Michelle over the past 20 years many times, and when we were putting together our leg of the tour, her management said Michelle would like to do some shows in places she has not performed before,” said media personality and concert promoter F.J. Hurtak, who helped make the Wright concert in the Pass possible.

Hurtak, a former resident of the Crowsnest Pass, said he immediately thought of the Pass when deciding where tour stop locations would be.
“My sound technician and I met with the folks in charge of the school in March and we felt with a few subtle changes and our own touring sound and light system, MD McEachern would adequately handle this type of show,” he said.
Tickets for Wright’s “Songs from the Hall” tour 2012 will go on sale on Friday, July 20th, at Neat and Nifty in downtown Blairmore. Because there are no numbered seats in the auditorium, the seating will be first come, first serve. However, the first 200 tickets sold will be red and the second 200 will be blue. Red tickets will be closer to the front of the auditorium than blue tickets.
Tickets are expected to sell out quickly for this highly anticipated event in the Crowsnest Pass.
