Aaron and Stephanie Keogler have completed their first month as owners of Pharmasave in Blairmore.
On Tuesday, February 19th, the Keogler family became the owners of Pharmasave, assuming the roles of former owners Keith and Jane Tananka.
“The first month was good and rather easy,” said Aaron Keogler.
Keogler gained experience running a pharmacy from operating Aaron’s Pharmasave in Pincher Creek for four years and which he will continue to do. However, after Keith and Jane announced that they were retiring, he decided to buy the business in Blairmore and set up camp in Crowsnest Pass. “The timing was right and it worked for us to take it on.”
“We like the Pass It’s a nice place and the people are friendly,” said Keogler.
We like it. It’s a nice place, people are very friendly.
Keogler was born and raised in Lethbridge as was his wife, Stephanie. He received a biochemistry degree at the University of Lethbridge and then went on to receive a pharmacy degree at the University of Toronto.
“I became a pharmacist because it’s a great field to work in,” he said. “There is lots of interaction with people and it offers challenges.”
Keogler has been a pharmacist for six years now.
“We’re settled here and I think we’re going to stay,” he said.
Keogler would like to thank the general public for the support they have offered and Keith and Jane for all that they have done to set things up and set a good standard for Pharamsave.
