Pass Herald Reporter
Cole Midtdal knows a thing or two about getting his feet wet.

And in the two-dozen Crowsnest athletes now under his tutelage, Midtdal likes what he sees.

“Everybody knows each other and it’s a tightly knit group,” he said. “They have a lot of potential and talent. We’ve just got to uncover that and put some work in.”

The fourth-year University of Lethbridge student has landed a summer job coaching the Pass Piranha Swim Club.

In the off-season, Midtdal is a fulltime athlete and student. He’s studying social science and philosophy and competes on the university’s swim team.

He has two-years experience coaching for the British Columbia Summer Swimming Association.

The Piranhas will be competing in regional competitions throughout the summer.

Their next swim meet is in Lethbridge as participants in the Southern Alberta Summer Games.
