CNP’s Amazing Teen Race
Pictured above is the Groovy Girls and Boy team, seconds before they open their very first clue that will set them off on the third annual CNP’s Amazing Teen Race. The Sabres were the first place junior team, while Dead Last Again came in first place for the senior team. Competitors had to learn how to tie a tie from Mayor Blair Painter, use a bow and arrow to shoot balloons, learn how to quilt and paint a square at Alberta Stella Memorial Arena, resulting in a unique mural. Katherine Mertz, project lead with 40 Developmental Assets Crowsnest Pass, had been planning the teen race since the spring. Left to right, Hailey, 13, Devon, 11, Indie, 14, Tressa, 13.
